We are pleased to announce a significant update to our user data retention policy, aimed at enhancing data privacy and security for our clients.
What's Changing: Effective immediately, the default user data retention period for new clients will be reduced from 24 months to 3 months.
Why This Change: This adjustment aligns with evolving data privacy standards and regulations, ensuring that user data is retained for a shorter duration. By adopting a default retention period of 3 months, we reinforce our commitment to responsible data management practices and enhance user trust in our services.
Customization Option: While the default retention period will be set to 3 months for new clients, we recognize that different clients may have unique needs. Therefore, we offer the flexibility to customize the data retention period further if necessary.
Impact:
Commitment to Privacy: This change underscores our ongoing commitment to protecting user privacy and managing data responsibly. We believe that shorter retention periods minimize the risk of data breaches and unauthorized access, ultimately safeguarding user information more effectively.
